Just looking to plant out a number of DBS plugs, but cannot remember whether the leaves persist over winter and am interested to know if spring bulbs will grow through them before I choose the location to plant them into. Can anyone advise me on this?

Athough tatty,old leaves will persist during the winter,spring bulbs will grow through them,no problems. DBS prefer a site that does not dry out.
