Theres an amazing number of these about at the moment, I had the pleasure of watching 20 odd nectaring on Ivy at Magdalen hill today.
They're hanging on well in the mild weather aren't they? I saw a hummingbird hawk moth today, although it didn't hang around unfortunately.
