hi guys, looking back through my old pictures i had this one listed as meadow brown underwing, however it doesnt appear to look quite right and the date it was taken was february, surely too early for a meadow brown, any ideas?

Hi Algol,
That's certainly a Meadow Brown. Your camera date setting must be incorrect and the image will have been taken during the June to October period, based on the butterfly alone. The Salad Burnet plant in the foreground gives a May to September timeframe.
