Brilliant!
I'll be back in Suffolk at the end of next week and will undertake my annual large tortoisesehell hunt with renewed optimism!

Agreed. This is a butterfly that may well be native again to the UK. Sightings appear to be on the increase so one hopes that at some point it may re-establish itself in these isles.
