WHAT ARE THESE?

Post by Paul Harfield »

Whilst out along my local footpath on Friday I spotted this unusual looking Cranefly, which stood out from the hundreds of others that took to the air with every step. I just wondered if anyone could put a species name to it as well as this rather attractive fly seen not too far away :?:
Many thanks :D

The top insect could be a Ptychoptera albimana - http://www.naturespot.org.uk/species/pt ... a-albimana

Not sure what the other one is though
