Swallowtail in Hereford/Worcestershire

Hello everybody,
First posting on this forum :)

Whilst having lunch on saturday we noticed a swallowtail flying outside outside our window. I'm sure that is nothing special, but we live in Worcester and as far as I can tell they are only resident in the Norfolk Broads.

Here are some images plus a small mov ie. It clearly has a damaged left wing but was still able to fly , glide and feed around our house several times.

I believe ( I think ) it is not a british type but european ( British are blacker round the edges & this is brown ) .
