Hi all, can anybody identify this, which I have only ever seen twice!

This is the Jersey Tiger moth, Euplagia quadripunctaria.

It's a Jersey Tiger Moth (Euplagia quadripunctaria). It'd be interesting to know where you saw it. There is, apparently, a population in London.

Both sightings have been on the Isle of Wight :) Was it known that they lived here?

Managed to find another one of these on my lawn today, ended up picking it up and holding it right up to my eyes and had a good look!
