Very small butterflies in my garden, Glastonbury UK.

Hi, my first post here, hope this is OK: I assume these might be Skippers given their small size, about 12-14mm across, but I couldn't find them in any list. They are in my back garden in Glastonbury, Somerset. I might have trouble following this thread for a day or two as I'm having some ISP problems, but I'll try to check back to answer any replies.

Thanks, Paul.

Hi Paul,

Welcome to the forum.

This is the small day and night flying moth, Pyrausta aurata.
