Hi

Does anyone know if there are still reliable sites to find Wall or Swallowtails in Norfolk at the moment? We usually go to Strumpshaw Fen in June but we are going a bi later this year. Are there likely to be any second brood Swallowtails around eiter there or anywhere else in Norfolk in the next two weeks and are Walls about at the moment

Thanks in advance

Paul

I'm going to Strumpshaw this Sunday / Monday (18th / 19th) as well, so am also interested in the answer!

Sorry it's a bit of a late reply but the Norfolk Wildlife Trust at Hickling Broad has regular Swallowtails.

Cheers

Hi Paul

A week ago we saw Swallowtail caterpillars at Strumpshaw and expect the butterflies will be flying towards the end of August beginning of September. Go to the newish fen boardwalk near the railway line.
