Silver-spotted Skippers

Post by Crispin »

Anyone recorded any Silver-spotted Skippers yet?

They appear to be a little bit late.
I would have expected the first sightings by now.
Weather permitting, I'm going to have a good search for them on Thursday and will let you know how I get on.

How is Aston Rowant?
None at Malling Down, Lewes on Monday :( .

As shown on the Twitter feed:

"Silver-spotted Skipper reported by Peter Law at Aston Rowant NNR (Beacon Hill) yesterday!"

Cheers,
