ID assistance appreciated

This was high in the Albula Pass a few days ago, evidently seeking somewhere to pupate.... any offers of ID very gratefully received... ? cinxia, size approx. 3cm

Hi Paul. I think that one is debilis. Cinxia has a bright red face (and shouldn't be looking for somewhere to pupate at this time of year, but then again, this year, who knows?).

This book covers France exhaustively and therefore most things you're likely to see in much of Europe:

A little interpretation is needed, as different larval stages can look quite different and there can be much variation.
