It's not supposed to be difficult, but I sorely needed a better picture of the species. As far as I'm concerned, this one qualifies. I guess it helps if I spend this time of year at home and not somewhere in central or southern Europe. :D

Brenthis ino

Lasiommata maera

The list is pretty short, but it was only a 90-minute walk. I suppose it misses about ten other potentials, but the picture of maturna compensates a lot.

Congratulations.... and brilliant!.... we don't seem to see many photos of maturna at all on here :mrgreen: impressive Frit is'nt it :D

Thanks! It is indeed a beauty. I'm still missing E. cynthia, but that's for some other year.
