Merry Christmas to all.

I thought a Holly Blue was appropriate for the season.

Congratulations to everyone for making it through the end of the world which accodring to all my students was supposed to have happened at 11:11am today :D The strangest thing was that they were so convinced that it was really going to happen yet they all turned up for school

Happy Solstice everybody and remember - it only gets better from here on in  (until June when it starts it get worse :? )

I hope they do a few interviews with those nutcases who thought today was going to be worldwide apocalypse!

Interesting that at the time armageddon was supposed to arrive, countries like Fiji, Tonga, New Zealand, etc had all moved into the 22nd December!

There have been hundreds of these end of the world prophecies and yet we're all still here  I don't know anyone who actually believed this one was going to happen but on one of my facebook groups last night someone sent a message to the Australian members asking if they were still there. They replied in the affirmative and said that their local supermarkets had completely run out of bottled water so someone had been panic buying

Of course, what may have happened is that the world ended, but was recreated in an instant and a New Age started. However, none of us noticed...

Anyway, onward merrily towards Christmas!

Happy Christmas to all!

I'm in Suffolk for the festive season but I made a Swiss card all the same. Not a lot of snow in Suffolk...

I looked out of my window earlier today and (once my eyes got accustomed to the vivid blue sky and balmy sunshine) noticed that one of my garden plants seems to be quite attractive to butterflies...

Then I woke up...
Hopefully Santa will bring me medication for my hallucinations and a new pair of wellies to stave off trench foot in 2013.

Merry Christmas!
