Last year I said I had bought a bag described as a "Fishing bag" from Aldi for use as a camera bag. Very pleased with it & in use every day now & would not go out without it, zipped solid base for sarnis & cake if on a day out. Zipped side pocket for anything with velcro inner flap for spare cards etc. Zip top pocket that i keep my mobile & spare batteries in & 2 net end pockets for drinks bottles. 9ltr main compartment takes my 2 cameras & binos.

Well today they are on sale again in Aldi @ £9.99, compare that to your average "proper" camera bag with a brand name, great value. Eric

Yes Chris, thats the one. They still had some in stock at our local Aldi last friday. most of their special offer do sell out quickly but as this is a more specialist item & not many may have found an alternative use it may be slower moving than usually. Eric

Hi Eric

My local Aldi had sold out ("try again in about six months" was the helpful advice)! By chance yesterday happened across another branch, pulled into the car park, left the family in the car, dived in and they had half a dozen left. V pleased to get one; from what you read on the various forums, even the fishermen love 'em!

It seems just the right size for day out (as you said). I'll give it a bit of a test run before trusting it with my DSLR and big lenses!

Thanks for the tip.

Chris
