My oak tree looks rather sick and I am concerned that it may be suffering from sudden oak death or something similar. Does anyone know anything about this disease?

If it is sudden oak death it doesn't bode well for the purple hairstreaks.

The man from the ministry says it is probably just mildew caused by the rotten weather. Phew! He's still coming to have a look at the tree though to be on the safe side.
