It seems the right time to start my diary and I will start with putting on a picture of each of the different butterflies I have already taken.

Hi Debbie,
some lovely photos, especially the Large Skipper in half shade and half sun, you have captured it beautifully.
All the best, Nick.

Thank you Chris, Nick & Wurzle for your kind comments - it means a lot. Here are a few more pictures ( some better than others). But as this is to keep a record of what I have seen - in they go.
Again, please let me know if I have id them incorrectly.
Still another batch to upload
Debbie

It has been a busy year for me, work is very busy and I have been doing a Jacobean Crewel Embroidery course with the RSN.
Here are a few of my snap shots from my bridge camera.
Thank you for your kind comments Goldie, next year I look forward to getting out more and getting to see some of those butterflies I have not seen yet.
Last week I saw a beautiful male brimstone, but no chance of a photo

Don't know if that is a Dragonfly or Damselfly Debbie but it is better than anything I have managed - and I love the Robin shots

Thank you Pauline. I have not identified the dragonfly yet?
Most of these pictures were taken on a large zoom.
