Hi everyone,

I would be most grateful if someone coudl identify the attached caterpillars. They were seen in early June on the Dorset coast between Swanage and Lulworth Cove.

Kind Regards
Kev

The first larva looks like either a Five-Spotted or Six-Spotted Burnet moth, my bet a Five-Spotted. Can`t help you with the second one.

Yep, I'd agree with 5 or 6 Spotted Burnet Moth for the first and Grass Eggar for the other one.

I have friend in Australia who sends me random butterfly descriptions  I've managed to sort those out. Now I have this caterpillar. Don't panic!! she saw it in Derbyshire whilst visiting family. I'd appreciate some help :D
