THE GRASSLANDS TRUST

Has anybody had any involvement with the Grasslands Trust?
I have been eyeing up prospective sites for butterfly watching in my local area, Hedge End near Southampton. I have already found several small areas within walking distance of my house. Today I spotted another area close by 'Moorgreen Meadows'. On doing a search online for the aforementioned area, I discovered there is a newly formed project called 'Discover Our Glorious Grasslands' organised by the Grasslands Trust. This project aims to involve the local community in habitat management and conservation in several areas in my local patch. I am thinking about getting involved in this as it seems like a good project.
I just wondered if anybody else has had similar things going on in their own local area. Any comments/advice welcomed.
