Hello,

I am looking at buying a copy of the book `History of British Butterflies` by Rev Morris.

As this book will cost well over £100 I thought I would see if anyone rates the book or is it not worth the money?

There are different print versions of the book, so which is best?

Thanks in advance Andy

Ok...I have just bought a copy of this book.
It is a 5th edition (1870) and what a great book if you like hand coloured plates.
I have many books on butterflies and this must be the most beautifully illustrated by far. Oooooh those hand coloured plates! :)

This is a must for collectors of antiquarian butterfly books.

Now the search starts for that Frowhawk book........................................
