Now who minds being 50......

Post by Debbie »

Today I have one of those birthdays with a zero on.

But with such wonderful butterfly books as presents it has been a very special day.

Britain's Butterflies
Author(s): David Newland, Robert Still, David Tomlinson and Andy Swash
The Butterflies of Britain and Ireland
Author(s): Jeremy Thomas and Richard Lewington

and a new lens for my camera off hubby to :)

Happy Birthday. Sounds like great presents. I have a year and a bit before I get there, but hope I won't feel any different from they way I feeel now! The big 40 was no great problem, but then I did notice that things started to go down hill a little!!

Many happy returns on your milestone.

I have both of those books and they're excellent.

Many happy returns.

I hit this particular milestone last year which was coincidentally my first full year of my proper renewed interest in butterflies since my childhood days.

Congratulations - I'm glad you're enjoying your day (which is quite a special one). :D
In answer to the question, yes - I will mind, but there's not much you can do about time passing except enjoy the ride! (3 years to go for me)...

Happy birthday D.M.S., i`m glad you had a lovely day.

No matter how old or young you are, as long as you are fit and healthy, and enjoy life, thats all that matters.

All the best,

Nick.

Many thanks for all the birthday wishes.

I am enjoying reading the books and await the butterflies to photograph.

Many Happy Returns for yesterday and enjoy the books. Age is a state of mind. I still think I'm 18. Shame my body doesn't agree.

I'm the same as Michael, just 3 years to go. I hope to celbrate with a trip to the states or somewhere further afield.
Cheers Paul
