They were showing some moth photos when I tuned in and mentioned butterflies for a few moments !!!

It was a Broad Bordered Bee Hawkmoth unless I'm very much mistaken but told us it was a Humming-bird Hawkmoth!! Fancy them getting that wrong on national TV!!!!!!!

I don't know much but from what I can see it seems to happen all to frequently.

I've just caught up with the show. Plenty of butterfly action, which is great, and a new fact for me with regard to hibernating Peacock sound frequencies. But yes, shame about the "HBHM".

Lovely filming.

Perhaps what struck me most was the enthusiasm shown by Senegalese for their Ospreys. Wouldn't it be marvellous if we could bring some of those people to Northern Europe to see their birds in our summer?
