Christmas Red Admiral?

I've just seen the weather forecast, and although it is pretty austere for the northern half of the British Isles, temperatures in the south are predicted to rise to 13C over the next couple of days, and after a cold start to the weekend, should rise again into double figures.

Someone, somewhere is going to encounter a Red Admiral. It's not often a butterfly will be seen on Christmas Day (or even during Christmas week) but this year offers the potential for some lucky soul to be walking in the great outdoors replete with full stomach only to be stopped in their tracks by Vanessa Atalanta.

I fully anticipate a sighting by someone on here over the duration of the next 7 days.
