Due, once again, to the hard work of Gary and Lisa Richardson, UK Butterflies has donated £1795.43 to Butterfly Conservation (the most we've ever donated in a single year). This figure represents the profit made through the sale of the UK Butterflies calendar, books and prints. Thanks also go to UK Butterflies sponsor, WildGuides, who allowed us to sell some of their books at a tremendous discount. This is an impressive sum given the economic climate and many thanks to everyone that parted with their cash!

Very good news. I notice that the calendar's sold out too so perhaps next year if a few more get issued then sales will increase again.
