The Monarch, a spectacular black and orange vagrant butterfly, was seen on Buddleia plants in Ringstead Bay, in Dorset, yesterday lunchtime

Can't say I am surprised - what with the huge numer of Yankee vagrants (birds that is) about due to the recent weather - I guess a Monarch or two must have hitched a ride on the weather systems..

and me heading off to Yorkshire tomorrow too!!!
