Hello,

Off to the Beautiful area of the north Chilterns tomorrow and dropping in at Grangelands to see if there's any second generation Duke of Burgundys and Small Blues there.

Its my firs time there - does anyone have local knowledge of the reserve to point me in the right area for these butterflies?

Or any other recommendations would be great.

Hi Leo,

I live quite close to Grangelands, it's not a huge site so have a wander. As you're in the vicinity I'd go for Lodge Hill, Bledlow as well. Also if you have time Dancersend could be worth a visit: http://www.bbowt.org.uk/content.asp?did=23524. Also Aston Rowant is a popular butterfly site but slightly further away.
