ID of Catapillar and Moths please Goldie M

I saw these while on holiday at my daughters in Kent anybody know what their called. Goldie M

Scotopteryx chenopodiata and Idaea rusticata. The cat MIGHT be young Orqyia antiqua.

The caterpillar is I think a Pale tussock moth ... Dasychira pudibunda

Thank you both, I've found the Moths and their discription fits" Shaded Broad Bar" and "Least Carpet". The Caterpillar looks more like a "Pale Tussock " as you say Phil, because it's got no orange that I can see, thank you again Goldie :)

I'm afraid i'm with JKT on the caterpillar. It;s a vapourer for me too.

From the picture it is difficult to tell. Although vapourer moth larvae are more likely to be encountered, for me the defining feature, or in this case lack of, is the vapourer's forward pointing head bristles which are not evident. Also the lateral bristles/tubercles of the vapourer are red(-ish) which doesn't show here.

Anyone else have an opinion on this?

tried changing the light to get it a bit clearer and added a side by side to an old pic i had, and still vapourer for me.
