hutchinsoni?

Hi this is a comma I saw today. Is it a hutchinsoni?

Hi AT, with H Comma they look less dark, less strongly marked on the upperside, with a more ochre, paler underside. It's all about the timing...the Andrew Riley book explains it really nicely. If I can remember properly the first Commas are Commas which mate. Some develop really quickly these are HCommas that emerge through June and into July and produce offspring. The more slowly developing larvae of the original brood emerge around August and then then hibernate thorugh the winter and mate the next spring. I think that's about right, and it makes for a very complictaed lifecycle :D
