Hi everyone I have never seen a White Letter Hairstreak and I wonder if anyone knows a good place to find them in Kent ( I live in Ashford ) ? I read that North Hill RSPB has a colony but I don't know if it's still there or not. Any help will be gratefuly received!

I'm visiting Surrey this weekend ( Leatherhead area ) : are there any good sites for WLH's there-abouts?

Surrey is one of the harder areas - DED has really had its effect.

If you want to see one perched - not grounded there is a roundabout on the A24 south of Dorking with about 5 planted SAGs - they should be flying around them this weekend. You will need to look through binoculars. Atlernatively there is a site Ewell - a local nature reserve where they are seen. TQ2361
