Does anyone have any up to date info. on Heath Fritillary at East Blean Woods, and also Haddon Hill in north Devon?

Trying to decide whether to make a Kent trip this weekend, or attempt to see them at the same time as Large Blue in a couple of weeks in Devon.

I don't want to miss out by waiting.

Also re East Blean, I gather it's a large wood - any specific directions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Steve.

The nature reserve car park at East Blean has an adjacent clearing, which apparently was full of butterflies this last weekend. You really could not miss seeing them. Turn off the A291 onto Hicks Forstal Road and keep going until you reach the car park (on your left).
