Our trip south next week may be a little too late!
Countryfile 5 day forecast tonight has cloud all day tomorrow when we set off & hoping for the wood whites in Northants. Tuesday should be ok for Totternhoe/Chilterns for small blue but probably too late for DoB's this year. Travel down wednesday probably in sunshine calling in at new GF site & New forest areas. Thurs/Fri could be mixed weatherwise & saturday is presently unknown. Have PBF, SPBF, & Adonis on our list to get by visiting Martin Down, Bently wood, Hod hill possibly Noar hill & several other areas if we have the strength left. Also GR dragons & Downy emerald & white leg damsels in New Forest. Realise PBF is probably too late for this year but we booked accomodation back in January based on normal emergences & probability of getting most species that are not here in Norfolk. Should be an interesting week anyway & mostly a new area for my friend & I. Eric
