I have seen that this has been reported on the Glasgow South West Scotland BC site as being seen on the 9th May at Glasdrum Nature Reserve. This is 9 days earlier than last Year.

I was wondering whether they will still be around in June? given this early emergence.

Also SBF seen on the 8th May in Scotland, also 9 days earlier than last year.

Good question. I'm up in the last week of May, so pretty hopeful for good weather, and them still being around. Not sure about June however?

Given that the weather forecast for that part of Scotland (up till Monday at least) is 12C with regular showers, I doubt if the Chequered Skipper is going to blow itself out by Whitsun.
