Two Garden Critters !!

Hi there,
I have two of these tiny little things I photographed this afternoon in Hampshire.They're quite different but both types were sharing a thistle !! They were no larger than a maggot really...I was so pleased I managed to catch such great detail of them both.

I may have answered my own question and wasted your time. On doing more research online I came across ladybird larvae of all things and they look similar to my little critters !! So it may be puzzle solved !!

Good pictures of such a small bug and thanks for your answer because I found several in my hedge yesterday and wondered what/who they were.
