Can anyone recommend anywhere near Cambridge I might find Small Blues? Looking at the ukbutterflies maps, it looks like I need to go over to Luton area or even Totternhoe for a good site, but is there anywhere nearer? I'm thinking of looking next weekend (14h May) unless that's too early for them?

I think you will probably have to make the trip out to darkest Bedfordshire as I think your chances of finding them closer to home are pretty slim. Your timing should be about right too I would have thought.
