Now, from the same place.... malvae?. or more onopordi??.. 2 different beasts, no open wing opportunities

For the second one (of this post), malvae, without doubt. The first leaves me less certain. It is hardly classic onopordi, but nor is it classic malvae. To be honest, I can't even rule out armoricanus, though it's late here and I often see things better in the morning!

What a pity there's no upperside...
