Early or Not

Hi all first time poster, last year was my first time trying to photogaraph Butterflies. This spring I came across what I identified as a Wall Butterfly. I managed to snap it. Photo taken on the 25th April 2011 in Sunderland, is this early for them I wonder. I have also spotted Orange Tips (male and female) and on the 17th April 2011 Peacocks, Speckled Woods, Small Tortiseshell. I have attached two pictures, I hope you can open them.

It IS early for Wall Browns. Mid-May is usually the norm.

I was staggered myself when I saw one yesterday in south Wales, so for them to be out in the north east of England is very surprising.

Thanks for confirming that, it was very quick off the mark and I only managed to get one picture. I'm hoping to visit more spots this weekend. Hoping the sun stays out.
