Black Hairstreaks

In view of this uncommonly fine weather and also because species tend to emerge earlier in the south does anyone have any suggestions as to date when I should start looking for the black hairstreaks in Surrey?

Hi Susie
I know they've been sighted in the first week of June in Oxfordshire over the past two years. With this years early sightings if the weather keeps up we could have Black Hairstreaks out in May in your area. Wow.
