Hi all,
I'm sure that one of the many top photographers on here can help me out. I'm looking for a good image of a Long-tailed Tit to illustrate a talk I'm giving (on Monday!) on Purple Emperors. I'm curious why you'd need a pic of a long tailed tit, guess I'll find out on Monday!

I guess it's to help explain where overwintering larvae may actually end up!

Oh dear, I hadn't thought of that. There is something so magnificently feisty about adult PEs that I had not really thought about the risks they run in the previous stages.

Despite Pete making a valid point about early stage predators, it is actually to illustrate the wide variety of birds I've watched male PEs attack! Vicious thugs .
