Image Request

Hi all,
I'm sure that one of the many top photographers on here can help me out. I'm looking for a good image of a Long-tailed Tit to illustrate a talk I'm giving (on Monday!) on Purple Emperors. Credit will of course be given. Please PM me and I'll give a direct email address to which I hope you can send an image (1-5 Mb). Thanks in advance for any assistance. In the event of receiving several offers, I'll use the first good'un, and then post 'job done' to save wasting anyone's time.

Job done in less than 15 minutes! That's how helpful the UKB community is. Thanks Pete.

I'm curious why you'd need a pic of a long tailed tit, guess I'll find out on Monday!

I guess it's to help explain where overwintering larvae may actually end up!

Cheers,

Oh dear, I hadn't thought of that. :( There is something so magnificently feisty about adult PEs that I had not really thought about the risks they run in the previous stages.

Hi Susie,
Despite Pete making a valid point about early stage predators, it is actually to illustrate the wide variety of birds I've watched male PEs attack! Vicious thugs 8) .
See you Monday!
