Thought I'd post my final conclusions regarding these similar species and photos I bought back from Switzerland. I've trawled through as many learned opinions I could find.. and probably mainly out of desire (ouch) have decided I have both species, taken on seperate mountain pastures on different days.... so I post these in the knowledge they are uncertain, and would welcome other opinions.....

I agree! I've been working on these two too, and have discovered a useful distinction I didn't know about before. But I won't explain it now as I'm typing on an iPhone, having turned my computer off for the night!!
