This little beauty was sitting serenely in the Alps, with Eriphyle Ringlets around. Suggest it is Nymphalid, but which.... any ideas, none of my books cover European immature stages.... now thats an idea for someone... such a book in English... or has it been done??

(edit) Oh - I think I might have found it on http://www.leps.it .... looks very like a Titania Frit pupa. Nice one to have anyway!!

Yes - looks like a foreigner to me :D

The closest "guess" I would have made would been athalia (Heath Frit):

It's a tit frit. I have a few photos of the same individual.

Those wavy markings are found on nothing else.
