1st Instar Purple Emperor Caterpillar

Just back from Suffolk with a lot to do and catch up on - apologies to anyone waiting for a reply to a post.
I did find time this evening to nip down to my local woods and locate this tiny person with a massive head, whom I've Christened Hadrian. I think he is just a few days old. He can obviously read, though, as he's behaving exactly as all the books say he should.
I promise I won't let this become another soap opera!
