On August 14th I have snapped two fritillaries but only upersides of ones. I Preliminary gues that they are:

- High Brown Fritillary female
and
- Dark Green Fritillary male.

The whole album is here.

Is there some posibility to determine the butterflies from these photos, please?

If these were in the UK, I'd agree with both IDs. The indented (or otherwise!) 3rd dot and sex brand are (as it seems you've done) diagnostics for determining adippe v aglaja, and male v female.

Guy may have some additional ideas given his knowledge of European species!

Cheers,

- Pete

Given my recent record on ID's
.....but having seen both species on the wing together in the UK, I'd also agree with Pete's analysis ......
