clearwing?

hi, i have been trying to identify a caterpillar my son found in Weymouth.
i think its a clearwing moth?

With a blue spike like that, it has to be a Lime Hawkmoth.

They can be, yes, especially in suburbia where roadsides and parks are often full of lime trees!
