If you ranked all the 'pest' species on the planet, with the most pestilential at no. 1, where do you suppose Homo sapiens would come? :wink:

I do, of course, understand why people get upset by the processionary moths, but on the positive side, they are fantastic creatures to watch. See my video of them here:

Number one without a doubt Guy!

The only reason they are considered pests is because they get in the way of homo sapiens carrying on with their usual business of going to the supermarket, keeping their gardens neat or whatever!

The processionary moths have been doing what they do for a good while longer than we have been building houses all over their forests...

Nice vid. My Dad has seen the pine ones in Spain, quite something to watch he said (but avoid treading on them!)
