High Brown - is it or isn't it?

I've been to Cumbria today to take in Gait Barrows, Arnside Knott and Meathop Moss. I was hoping to photograph my first high brown fritillary, but the few that I saw were very restless and difficult to approach. I managed a rather poor shot (below), but despite checking against various other pictures I'm still not convinced it's a high brown and not a dark green (it doesn't help that I'm colour blind on browns and greens!). Anyone prepared to offer a second opinion?

This looks like a Dark Green Fritillary to me, I'm afraid. It seems to lack the dark brown blotches (and minor silver spots) that make a High Brown a High Brown!

Cheers,

- Pete

I agree with Pete, definately a DG Fritillary.

Check it against the photos of HB and DG:

I'd be chuffed to get a shot of a DGF like that anyway.
