Will the Butterflies be late this year?

Hi will this bad weather / cold spring knock the butterflies emergence back?
I went to our local Silver-studded Blue site today (prees) and the food plants dont seem to be out yet
I can imagine that butterflies that overwinter as eggs may be delayed how does it work out for ones that overwinter as chrysalis like Duke of Burgandy am planning a trip down south for those on the second week in may
