Just been trying to make a personalised avatar, and i'm blowed if i can get one down to 6kbs. This would be a dot. What am i doing wrong?

I say,,' aah, that's better', but still cannot resolve this.

Re-sizing has always been a problem for me. Ok i can do it easily enough,,,, but i have to do it many times, and delete many images to get the Klbs below the acceptable limit. In the end,,,i usually give up.

Sounds like it's not the KBs that's at issue, but the image size.

Just out of interest, Zonda, has your signature changed too? Didn't it say 'knowledge is a myth' before? Or something different from 'luxury'?

It might have, i think i decided that knowledge probably wasn't a myth after all. Knowledge is a luxury tho, if you can afford it.

For us hard-up teachers, luxury is a myth.
