Please note that, over the winter, various "themes" will be given for the competition. You may choose any photo you have so long as it's relevant to the theme (and is not restricted to photos taken during the month in question)! November theme is Up close and personal.

To enter the competition, please post a single image (1 post per member) as follows:

- Click on the "Gallery" link and then open the "November 2009" album
- Click the "NEWIMAGE" button
- Follow the instructions to upload a single image

To view the entries:

- Click on the "Gallery" link and then open the "November 2009" album

You'll be able to edit or delete your entry until 5th December. To do this:

- Select the "Moderate" link at the bottom of the image details
- Take the appropriate action

You will be unable to rate or comment on the image until the competition has been voted on. Comments and constructive critique are very welcome thereafter.

Look forward to seeing the entries roll in , good luck !

Not sure about the bit I highlighted in red, Pete ?

Regards Gruditch

I personally find it a bit scary that you can't take off an image you grow to hate, or replace your original entry with a better one taken later in the month.
It will take some getting used to. :?

Don't enter until the end of the month then - which is what most people seem to do anyway.

Unfortunately, this is a restriction of the current implementation (which I'll look into relaxing).

Cheers,

- Pete

Hmmm. Looks like this might be a "false alarm" since I'm able to edit and delete an image, as a "regular" member.

If anyone is unable to edit or delete their competition submission, please let me know!

Cheers,

- Pete

That seems ok, I'll have to find a good entry to enter, so have to wait a few days anyway until I pick a good one
