I bought a copy at today's AES exhibition and is, basically, a series of scientific papers grouped into various common themes. But for the serious amateur, looks very interesting (otherwise, I wouldn't have bought it!).

I will certainly get a copy some time, but I've used up my October allowance. That's quite a hefty price tag.
