It's been out since June but I only got my copy today and it's great, so I thought I'd give it a plug...

At last there's a single book covering all the European Geometridae. This volume describes and illustrates (photographs of set specimens) over a thousand species in about 800 pages, including genitalia diagrams where necessary (e.g., Eupithecia, for Felix). It probably excites me more than UK residents, but it really does excite me, because although there have been European butterfly books for decades there's been nothing comparable for moths. When the Noctuid volume comes out my happiness will be complete.
