I get a shot like this. I call it "Dicing with Death".

I'm going to have to think long and hard about it now.

Yeah, thats a great shot  bit better than I could get, have to try hard to match that shot I think. What camera/lens do you have anyway?

Canon 400D, Sigma 150mm, Jessops monopod and a lot of effort. A good shot, well earned.

Well, I have had no problems using my Canon 400D and the sigma 150mm is a great lens. Even though I got the Canon 500D, I still use my 400D at times and even though its a few years old now, it still takes great shots.

Nice shot Denise, just about any DSLR is capable of turning out an image as good as your Small Heath, it's really down to the person behind the camera.
But if you've already got the money, I would buy a second camera body anyway, always handy.

Thank you all. (takes a bow) :D
I was particularly chuffed as this is the taken image. No editing except for a slight crop (10%) and resize to fit on the site page.

Very good shot indeed Denise.

Can I ask how you and Dave post pictures that are bigger in appearance on the page?

Mine seem smaller and when clicked on open on a new web page.

Thanks

Lee

Hi Lee,

There are 2 mechanisms for getting photos into posts. The first is to use the IMG tag to load a photo that's actually on another website - which is what Denise and some others do.

The other mechanism is to include the photo as an attachment using the UKB forum itself (as you've done). This mechanism creates a thumbnail that then links to the full-size image. This feature was added because some users have a hard time downloading pages that are full of full-size images and having thumbnails instead saves on download time.

Cheers,

- Pete
